Kirk combines a university architectural education and years of work experience in architectural offices, in North America and Europe, with masonry industry experience going back to 1996. Over the past decades he has presented AIA Continuing Education Seminars to hundreds of architects and has worked with most of the major NW region masonry contractors. He has acted as a technical and promotion consultant to several major NW masonry manufacturers and supply houses. Kirk is experienced with architectural design, masonry construction, cavity wall design, asphalt reinforcement, reinforced slopes and retaining walls using geogrids.
